AUTOPLAY^TM  Technical Specifications

ON SITE -- Messages can be recorded from a telephone handset, a microphone, or loaded from a professionally-produced audio tape.
REMOTE -- With the Telephone Control (-TC) option, messages can be recorded remotely over the phone line.  With Addressable (-AD) or Remote Sourcing (-RS) options, Autoplay can remotely record from line level input, allowing message update via satellite or FM sub-carrier audio channels.
 

Control Phone

Simply plug a standard touch tone phone into the unit. Listen to the pre-recorded instructions which guide you through each step. Use the phone's keypad to enter your selections.

Automatic

Upon "hanging up" the announcer will run automatically. The phone may be left in place for applications requiring frequent change or to permit use as a pager, or it can simply removed -- in effect "locking" the system.

Control Inputs

Sets to "PA" mode -- Plays straight through "live" from Mic, Aux, or Phone Input. "Press to Continue" -- The playlist can be configured to run to a point and stop until it sees a change in this input before continuing. Numerous such points can be included in a playlist. Sets to "Keypad" mode -- Allows instant access to any message or will queue desired message if one is currently running. Stop/Start/Reset -- Contact closure causes speech to stop. Open causes re-start at first message on playlist.

Remote Control

An option is available to allow telephone dial-in from remote locations for recording, changing the schedule or playlists, and to queue messages if jumpered for "Keypad Mode." A security code feature is provided.

PA Control -- Input 1 can alternatively be programmed to provide a live announcement path.

Stop Input -- Input 4 can alternatively be programmed to stop all message announcing. RELAY OUTPUTS

One Form C Relay, energized during announcements is standard.
Output Relay (-OR).  With this option, both Form C relays are controllable from playlists or DTMF tones.
